Ave Maria University is an English university that provides an alternative to both Nicaraguans wanting to stay in the country as well those wishing to come to Nicaragua from other parts of the world. Studying at Ave Maria you can have credits transfer to and from the US. Ave Maria University is located just 30 minutes from Managua in San Marcos. Another option is the Universidad Americana (UAM) that offers a Business Administration degree where all the classes are done in English. UAM also offers other business related degrees and students are also able to transfer credits over to top universities in the US including Notre Dame, Florida State University and many others. It can be a great opportunity for those looking to save some money from rising costs of US institutions and at the same time gain the experience of living abroad.
For those looking to get into a Masters Program, INCAE is considered among the top business schools in Latin America. INCAE gives students the opportunity to not just learn in the classroom but also in the fields of what they are studying. Students will be able to put into practice everything they are learning. INCAE also boasts great results with their students that graduate from their programs earning much higher salaries after going through their program. The one drawback is that the MBA program at INCAE is only offered in Spanish.
